 Vehicle Rental Rates: Call Motor Pool at 797-3145 to make a reservation. A USU Travel Authorization (TA) Form is required when you pick up the vehicle.

Hybrids (Toyota Prius or like) .35/mile ($35/day minimum charge); plus fuel
Small Sedans (Cobalt or like) .27/mile ($27/day minimum charge); plus fuel
Mid-Size Sedans (Malibu or like) .29/mile ($29/day minimum charge); plus fuel
Full-Size Sedans (Impala or like) .31/mile ($31/day minimum charge); plus fuel
Mini Vans (7 Passenger) .38/mile ($38/day minimum charge); plus fuel
Wheelchair Assessable Minivan .50/mile ($50/day minimum charge); plus fuel
Pickups (No Towing Allowed) .48/mile ($48/day minimum charge); plus fuel
Pickups (Towing Allowed) .48/mile ($48/day minimum charge); plus fuel
SUV's (Liberty or like) .48/mile ($48/day minimum charge); plus fuel
Mini Buses (15 Passenger) .55/mile ($55/day minimum charge); plus fuel

Half-day rates are available if the vehicle will be used for less than 4 hours, will be back by 4:30 pm and will be driven no more than 20 miles. We DO NOT take reservations for half-day rentals. Please call 797-3145 for availability within 24 hours of needing the vehicle.

Note: If the vehicle you have rented is being kept over the weekend, but not driven, we may be able to adjust the rate. All adjustments are determined on a case by case basis.

Other Charges
Remove Seat from Minivan $19.00 per seat
No Show (If you call ahead of time to cancel, there will be no charge) 1/2 of min. daily rental
Late Return (please call to make arrangements and, if possible, we will try to avoid this charge.) 1/2 of min. daily rental plus regular fees
Insurance Dept. pays for the $500 deductible or pays the $2.00 daily damage waiver on rentals

Long Term (monthly) Rental Rates: (with free weekends & 2,100 free miles/month)

  • Minibuses, Minivans, Trucks, & SUV's rate is 21 times the Minimum Daily Rental Rate then standard. mileage rate after 2,100 miles
  • Sedans are rated at 21 times the Minimum Daily Rental Rate then standard mileage rate between 2,100 and 2,500; after 2,500 miles we charge.20/mile.
