FAQ - Miscellaneous

  1. Over night parking in the areas on the map require a permit, map
  2. Parking on campus between the hours of midnight, 12:00am – 6:00am is considered overnight parking. A permit is required to park on campus overnight from Nov 1st- April 1st for snow removal.
  3. Gray student housing permits allow the residents to park in their respective lots.
  1. Student and Faculty/Staff lots are open on the weekends.
  2. Gray resident lots are enforced 24/7
  3. If it is a federal holiday we do not enforce ie; Memorial day, labor day, Christmas etc.
  4. Faculty/Staff lots are enforced on school holidays (Spring break, winter break) due to the fact the Faculty and Staff are still required to be on campus and need to be able to use the lots that their permits are for.
  1. The driving address to the parking office 840 E 1250 N, Logan UT 84341. This IS NOT a mailing address.
  2. From Logan main street South bound- Enter Logan City limits from the North in a southbound direction on Main Street (HWY 91). At the intersection of 1400 N and Main turn left, heading East. Stay Eastbound until 800 E, turn right, South. On 800 East you will pass a small orchard on the East side of the road. Directly after is a left hand turn next to the softball fields. Turn left and proceed up the road. On the left will be a yellow brick building name PUBLIC SAFETY. Park in front of the building.
  3. From Logan main street North bound- Enter Logan City Limits on Main Street (HWY 91) North bound. Proceed to 400 N and Main. On 400 N turn right East. Stay East bound until the 600 East intersection. Turn left, heading North. At the four way stop turn right, East. Proceed up to the “T” (no stop sign) and turn North (left) up the hill. At the top of the hill is a stop light, 700 N 800 E, turn Left, North. Proceed down the hill pass the football stadium parking lot. The softball field will be on the Right, East, and a road will be directly after them. Turn right, and proceed up the road. On the left will be a yellow brick building name PUBLIC SAFETY. Park in front of the building.
  1. Tickets from USU will be in a Yellow envelop and have Utah State University printed on the top of the Citation
  2. Logan City tickets are in Orange envelope. The USU parking office does not have any authority or access to these records. Please refer to the back of the citation for payment information with Logan City.

  1. No. USU does not do Logan Residential permits. We only deal with parking and transportation for Utah State University.

  1. Parking for the University Inn is provided in the Big Blue Parking Terrace. The University Inn will provide its guests with a permit to park in the terrace during check-in. University Inn Guests are also able to park with a permit in the Blue Premium parking lot for half an hour to load and unload.

  1. Unfortunately there is no free parking on campus until after 5:00pm and it is only in certain lots. Blue, yellow, orange and green are available after 5:00pm and on the weekends.

  1. There is no overnight parking on campus between Nov. 1st and April 1st unless you live on campus and have the permit for they area you live. Overnight is considered from midnight- 6:00am.
